Manitoba Possible received $5,000 through the Emergency Community Support Fund (ECSF) funded by the Government of Canada for a project directly related to COVID restrictions. For persons with disabilities, the COVID restrictions have resulted in job loss or reduction, with many relying on non-employment income support. Manitoba Possible used an ECSF grant to purchase gift cards so that those with disabilities most financially impacted by the pandemic could purchase food or other items, such as diapers, health, or sanitary products which would have the most meaningful impact.
