The South Central Regional Library (SCRL) received $5,000 through the Emergency Community Support Fund (ECSF) funded by the Government of Canada for a project directly related to COVID restrictions. SCRL wanted to continue to provide service to families homeschooling their children and patrons who did not feel comfortable using public spaces during a pandemic. Using their ECSF grant, SCRL purchased tablets and various electronic devices for their technology lending program as well as equipment to record story times, crafting and other library activities for their YouTube channel. Thank you SCRL for finding innovative and creative ways for our community to connect.
