Sue Nelson

Sue Nelson is a retired pharmacist, business owner and long-time resident of Morden. She is married to Ted and has two adult daughters and two grand-cats. As the former owner of a successful business, Sue sees a need to give back to the community that supported a young family that took a leap of faith moving to Morden over thirty years ago.
Sue is has been a volunteer for many organization in Morden including: Girl Guide Leader and Commissioner for twenty years, filled many church positions, South Central Cancer Resource Board Co-Chair and Board member, Winkler Morden Chapter Habitat for Humanity fundraising Chair. She was the recipient of the Morden Citizen of Distinction Award in 2018.
Sue is interested in social justice issues, community growth and wellbeing and thinks Morden is a great place to live. She is an avid gardener, quilter and looks forward to serving on the Morden Area Foundation Board.

Tio Bellisario

Secretary of Morden Area Foundation. Tio Bellisario has lived in Morden since 2009 and has worked at Focal Point Comprehensive Vision Care since September 2008 as an Optometrist. He loved the area and decided to put down roots here and became part-owner in February 2011.

Tio got married in 2016 and loves spending time outdoors with his wife, Leanne, and kids, Stefano and Bianca. He enjoys following most sports including the Jets and Bombers. One of the first things he remembers when he came here is how much Dr. Earl Lautenschlager loved being on the Morden Area Foundation board and has since learned about the great work the Foundation does. Tio joined the MAF board in April 2021 and looks forward to being part of the Foundation’s work to provide positive and lasting change to Morden and the surrounding area.
